Presentation in the Conference Organised by Colorado State University
   
 ‘The International Pathways to Success: Integrated Human Dimension into Fish and Wildlife Mangement Conference and training’ (28th September to 2nd of October) organized by the Colorado State University has accepted  paper entitled as “People-Leopard conflict: livestock depredation in Mustang district of Nepal” for oral presentation. Raju and Yadav has awarded by the Colorado State University  and Friends of Nature  to present his paper. However, Mr. Raju Acharya has presented the status of Common leopard, leopard depredation and further recommendation to resolve the problem in Mustang district of Nepal.

Presentation in the Conference Organised by WWF

A paper was presented by Yadav Ghimirey entitled “Assessing the Status of Small Carnivores with a Special Focus on Clouded Leopard in Makalu-Barun National Park”.

The conference was organised by WWF Nepal program in order to have a progress review of the projects that have been funded by Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) Grants in the Eastern Himalayas. Different experts on the subject matter were present at the conference. The conference was held on 16th June 2009 in Hotel Himalaya, Lalitpur.

 
Participation in Third International Galliform Symposum
 
The World Pheasant Association (WPA) conducted 3 rd International Galliforms symposium, 2004 in India . It covered the issues on the conservation and sustainable management of all species of Partridge, Quail, Francolin, Guineafowl, Megapode and Pheasant, with special emphasis on South Asia , the threatened species and their habitats.

Mr. Acharya participated and made a poster presentation on the “Survey of Cheer Pheasant in the Kaligandaki valley, Mustang , Nepal ”. His participation in a week long symposium was funded jointly by WPA and Bird Conservation Nepal

Mr. Raju Acharya made a series of presentation in India (June/July) on behalf of FON Nepal.

Pannampet Forestry College organized presentation in June 30, 08. Mr Raju Acharya made presentation on “The role of local knowledge and way of documenting them”. Altogether 25 different CAFNET project members and student of Forestry College, Ponnampet participated in the program. 
   
Pannampet Forestry College organized talk program in July 10, 08. Mr Raju Acharya made presentation on the “Overview on the forest conservation in Nepal” specially focusing on community based forest conservation activities in Nepal. Different Faculty members and the graduate students (35) from the forestry college, Ponnampet  participated in the talk program.
   

Rotary Club fo Gonikoppal organized the talk program in July 31, 08. Mr Raju Acharya presentation on the “Over view of Nepal”. A presentation was delivered to the members of Rotary Club (13) of Gonikoppal of Karnataka State which was related to overall social, cultural, environmental issues of Nepal.
