FON has conducted an outing travel for 25 students of class VIII, IX and X of Shneha Secondary High School, Sinamangal, Kathmandu , dated August 3, 2005 . The aspiration of the program was to inform the students about the existing water pollution status of the Kathmandu Valley. The selected study site was Bagmati River (Near Gausala) and Slesmantak Ban, Pasupati Nath. Program was facilitated by Mr Surendra Gautam (Coordinator, Disaster Management and Public Health) and Mr Binod Ghimire (Coordinator, Conservation Education).
