This wonderful booklet is the result of joint efforts of King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation (KMTNC) and Friends of Nature (FON Nepal). The main aim of this work is to create awareness among the local inhabitants of Kaligandaki valley to conserve Cheer Pheasant.

In total 500 booklets have been published in native language. The booklet contains brief introduction of Cheer Pheasant, its habitat, its importance, threats to its survival, conservation initiatives and role to play by locals.
