 |
| |
With just over 0.1% of the earths land surface occurring in Nepal, it supports globally known 8.5% of birds (862 spp.). 29 globally threatened species recorded in Nepal. The entire bird diversity in Nepal is threatened by the habitat fragmentation, poaching and weak awareness and implementation mechanism in grassroots level. The overall aims of the wing are,

- Study of ethno-bird relation
- Prepare conservation materials
- Explore the bird farming issue
- Explore the impact of climate change on bird diversity
